Regional context for your prevalence — including public CDC surveillance data, shown as context only.

The Geo page places your laboratory prevalence next to public infectious-disease context, so seasonal and regional patterns are easier to interpret.

Vendor geography

PrevIQ keeps lightweight location profiles for laboratories (city, state, region, and, where available, catchment population). The page maps the labs that have coordinates.

Note

Current laboratory exports do not include patient or facility geography, so PrevIQ never infers a specimen's location. Geography is attached at the vendor level only.

CDC RESP-NET context

The page can display CDC RESP-NET weekly hospitalization rates by state/site, across three surveillance networks plus a combined view:

COVID-NET COVID-19 hospitalizations
FluSurv-NET Influenza hospitalizations
RSV-NET RSV hospitalizations
Combined All three together

Important

This is context, not prevalence. CDC RESP-NET rates are public-health hospitalization surveillance — a completely different measurement than your PCR panel detection rates. PrevIQ never blends CDC data into your prevalence denominators. Use it only to understand the backdrop (e.g., "respiratory detections rose during a regional flu surge").

External sources

The Geo area also lists the external datasets PrevIQ can surface, each with a short description, its denominator note (how that source defines its rate), and a status of available, planned, manual, or disabled.

How to use it

  1. Pick a network

    Choose Combined, COVID-NET, FluSurv-NET, or RSV-NET for the latest reporting week.

  2. Read the map and list

    Higher-rate sites are emphasized; the side list ranks sites by weekly rate.

  3. Interpret as backdrop

    Treat any correlation with your prevalence as context for a hypothesis — not a combined metric.
